After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology & Criminology, I relocated to Perth and pursued a Diploma of Community Services. This led me to work as a Community Support Worker, providing assistance to individuals in need. Transitioning to the role of Youth Worker, I took on team leader responsibilities, including training new workers and overseeing colleagues.

My duties encompassed a wide range of tasks, such as administering medication, assessing client needs, setting goals in collaboration with clients, coordinating with company coordinators and stakeholders, teaching new skills, assisting with household tasks, supporting clients in exploring hobbies and interests, facilitating employment and education opportunities, and offering support for individuals with challenging circumstances, including those under the Department of Child Protection and funded by the NDIS. I supported diverse individuals characterized and affected by various trauma and mental health issues, such as Autism, Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Drug & Alcohol Addictions (AOD), Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and Intellectual Disabilities.

In addition, I provided in-house care assistance and respite services to vulnerable individuals during a specific period. As of 05/01/2023, I assumed the role of an In-Reach Case Worker and occasionally performed duties as a Welfare Officer. In this capacity, I my responsibilities involve managing timetables and appointments for clinical activities, coordinating with doctors, psychologists, dieticians, nursing staff, and other specialists, ensuring timely provision of medications and supplies, organizing and preparing facilities for smooth clinical operations, offering relief case management and support in intake and assessment processes, fostering professional relationships with clients, employees, and related services, facilitating daily planning for service delivery, building rapport with clients to advocate for their needs, supporting their employment prospects, and ensuring suitable long-term housing arrangements.

I possess leadership qualities and strive to foster positive team dynamics. Eager to learn, I excel in time management and diligently adhere to PBS plans (Positive Behavior Support plans).
